Alexa Ray-Joel is an American musician, singer and songwriter. The daughter is singer-songwriter Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley. Joel was born in New York, shares the love of her parents for style and music. At the age of 19 Joel joined her first group of musicians. Her debut live show took place in Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. She became an overnight sensation in just a few years. Joel's debut extended-play Sketches was released in the year 2006.
