Berenice Marlohe
Berenice Lim Marlohe, a French actress from France. She is most famous for her part as an anti-heroine Bondgirl Severine in Skyfall which is the 23rd James Bond movie. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She was featured as a protagonist on Sophie Marceau's French comedy, Un Happiness n'arrive every day alone, yet her name isn't mentioned. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for Omega Watches. Berenice, of French Chinese descent and Cambodian ancestry was born on May 19th, 1979. Her birthplace was Paris France. Born into a middle class French-speaking family she was raised by an Chinese father and a Cambodian mother. Her mother was a teacher and her father worked as medical doctor. She fell in love the arts while growing up in Paris and spent the rest of her childhood playing and painting on the piano. Passionate about music and art overtook her and helped shape her career as well as her dreams. The workshop of Jack Waltzer was the spark that ignited her career. Her enthusiasm for the subject was infectious and started acting, which became her latest obsession. She completed ten years of studying through Paris Conservatory after this. When she graduated from college she began casting for film roles which quickly led to her first part for the role of The Discordance. She struggled early in her career in finding roles that were suited for the characters. The presence of the character in films proved to be influential. Most of the major producers and film agents that she spoke to ended up refusing her due to her lack of experience.
